Bar/Bat mitzvah project

At myisrael we understand what an important moment it is when a boy or girl celebrates his or her Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
We know too, that this is a time for thinking of others less fortunate and that many Bar/Bat Mitzvah boys and girls want to do something special to help others.
At myisrael, we want to encourage every Bar/Bat Mitzvah boy/girl to get involved in any way they can with a charity that is meaningful to them.
For example, you could choose to donate some of your gift money to a project of your choice, you could bring your family to visit one of our projects in Israel, you could collect items for one of our projects or you could set up a fundraising page through our Website.
We have already had lots of boys and girls celebrate their Bar/Bat Mitzvah by supporting myisrael projects and here are some examples of how this has been achieved:

Barney Burns
Laura Bailey donated 50% of her Batmitzvah money to two Ethiopian-Israeli girls from poor backgrounds in the Netanya area via the Forgotten People Fund. Each girl received a brand new computer and printer plus some money to go shopping. The girls were overwhelmed by Laura's generosity and felt that their lives changed for the better as they are now be able to do all their homework assignments using their computers.
