Myisrael aims to inspire each and every one of you support our projects and to spread the word of what we do.
We want to encourage children in the UK to engage with the projects we support, so we participate in Mitzvah Day, regularly talk to Bar and Bat Mitzvah kids and have established Young Myisrael to appeal to young people of all ages.
Crucially, Myisrael focuses on the idea of helping people break negative cycles. At one project this could mean helping a woman escape a violent husband, at another it could be teaching an Ethiopian man simple budgeting skills to enable him to better manage his own finances. The projects we support re-unite wayward teenagers with their families through mediation, offer real working opportunities to adults with mental illness, provide weekend care for children with autism, use animals to heal those who have experienced trauma and so much more.
The personal touch is very important to Myisrael. We’ll send a handwritten card or personalised certificate to congratulate someone and inform them of a donation. We’ll make sure that you know exactly what will be funded at a particular project and we will come up with specific projects if you are looking for something special to support. And above all else, we’ll arrange a project visit for you any time that you are in Israel. You can actually see your Myisrael donation in action.
It may sound corny, but every single one of our donors is valued and truly considered a member of the Myisrael family.
We hope that you will become a Myisrael Ambassador and spread the word about what we do.
