On Sunday 20th May over 200 people attended this years’ Gefiltefest Food Festival which helps to support the Bet Shean Food Bank - one of Myisrael’s projects.
The festival, now in its 3rd year, took place at Ivy House in London and aims to bring together food & Judaism – the perfect combination! Guests enjoyed a full programme of demonstrations and tasting sessions together with learning and discussion groups.
The day featured some top speakers and presenters such as Rabbi Jonathan Wittenberg, Rachel Cooke of the Observer, Anna Freedman from Wholefood Harmony, Elizabeth Carter of the Good Food Guide & Susan Low of Delicious magazine. Claudia Roden also interviewed the food blogger Anthony Silverman.
We are so proud to be associated with this wonderful event and thanks go to Michael Levethal – creator of Gefiltesfest – and his amazing team who continue to be innovative with their ideas and so supportive of Myisrael and particularly Bet Shean Food Bank
We can’t wait for next year!
Well done to all.
